Membrane cleaning
Membrane technology is becoming increasingly important in modern industry. The overall market is growing significantly faster than GDP.
Areas of application for membrane processes include seawater desalination, the production of process water (power plants) and ultra-pure water (semi-conductor production), the food industry (milk processing), medicine (dialysis), the pharmaceutical industry and waste water treatment.
Unlike many other types of equipment, however, membrane units cannot be cleaned manually, which means that cleaners are needed with particular performance characteristics and compatibility with membranes and materials. Cleaners containing products of the _Baypure® range comply with these requirements.
_Baypure® CX100 in combination with a surfactant and/or _Baypure® DS100 produces excellent cleaning results when compared with a commercial cleaner. _Baypure® DS100 is used primarily with solid materials and _Baypure® CX100 with oils.Apart from the cleaning performance, there is an additional effect that is also becoming increasingly important. The use of _Baypure® products can result in a longer service life between cleaning cycles and/or a smaller decrease in the flow rate after several rinse cycles.
